About the Indian College of Cardiology

Welcome to INDIAN COLLEGE OF CARDIOLOGY

Indian College of Cardiology is a forum of Cardiologists who have expertise from basics to advances in various fields of Cardiology. This esteemed super speciality association was founded in the year 1994 with its headquarters at Bangalore. Since then it is growing steadily in membership and spreading its objectives across the country and abroad. ICC conducts academic meetings, CMEs and public education programs all over India on a regular basis. The official Journal of Indian College of Cardiology (JICC) is being published quarterly.

The National body has over 1300 members. Every year ICC chooses a city of India with high quality accommodation for convention to host its Annual meeting ICCCON.

ICCCON 2026 is three days symposium featuring Basics in cardiology, topics influencing clinical practice, cutting edge technology in cardiology, didactic lectures, CD Presentations, nightmare cases, PG track programme followed by PG quiz with attractive prizes.

— General Information

Kochi is waiting to welcome you during your visit to Annual Conference 2026

Kochi, city and major port on the Malabar Coast of the Arabian Sea, west-central Kerala state, southwestern India. Also the name of a former princely state, “Kochi” is sometimes used to refer to a cluster of islands and towns, including Ernakulam, Mattancherry, Fort Cochin, Willingdon Island, Vypin Island, and Gundu Island.

With a history of trading in the southwest, Kochi still holds on to its dutch and Portuguese buildings, such as the Old Harbour House, Mattancherry Palace, Bolgatty Palace , Jewish Synagogue, etc., some of which have gone through renovations over the years. The cosmopolitan town has upmarket stores, art galleries, heritage homes, and some of the finest museums, such as the Hill Palace and Kerala Folklore Museum.

Kochi is home to loads of revered and popular religious sites for those who want to satisfy their religious appetite. It houses everything from numerous beautiful temples to holy mosques and ancient churches.

Air Travel

Cochin International Airport is an international airport serving the city of Kochi. It is located at Nedumbassery, about 25 km northeast of the city center. It is the busiest and largest airport in the state of Kerala.

Rail Connectivity

Ernakulam Junction (South - ERS) and Ernakulam Town (North - ERN) are the two major railway stations in Kochi and is well connected with all the major places in India.

During March the temperature in Kochi ranges between 32°C to 36°C.
